Client Interaction Policy
JPB Painting Company Ltd (JPB)’s first priority is the safety of its employees, clients and the community. JPB has identified the risks associated with Covid-19 and has drafted the following procedures to mitigate those risk. We expect the highest standards of Health & Safety from our staff to ensure our clients sites remind safe and risk free. It is our collective responsibilities that will enable us to deliver a stronger and healthier work place.
At the start of the working day every site will conduct a prestart meeting, discussing safety issues, with an emphasis on Covid 19 safety practices. Any foreseen issues will be communicated with our clients. This meeting will be documented using our SSSP document.
All staff will be provided the correct PPE including the extra equipment under the new Covid 19 environment. The correct use of this PPE will be given prior to its use and will be included in the daily pre-start meetings. All staff will sign a Pre-start acceptance of their daily H&S requirements.
Where necessary JPB will arrange with the client for an external toilet and washing facility on site. This will be for the sole use of JPB.
All communication with our clients will be via email, phone or other forms of non-physical contact such as facetime, Zoom etc. Where a physical meeting is required the social distancing and PPE requirements will be applied.
There will be no forms of physical contact, no hugs, shaking hands.
Communication with regard to other trades on site must at least 2 hours prior to their arrival. If they are to come onto the site they are to sign in on their arrival and abide by JPB’s Covid 19 policies. This includes the “Contact Tracing” of all contacts on site.
Frequently touched surfaces will be cleaned on a regular basis.
At the end of each working day a thorough clean of the site will be undertaken. All disposable PPE will be taken off site and disposed of.
